Below are listed the various Kalmatron® products
and their uses. Simply click on the product that interests you, based upon the brief overview, and you will be provided with a
more in-depth product description.
Kalmatron® products are chemically balanced,
inorganic cementitious compounds, which waterproof and modify cement
to improve its underdeveloped features. Mix designs that
initially have the worst cement quality, or structures that are in
the worst condition, obtain the highest effectiveness from Kalmatron®. The entire Kalmatron® product family includes
admixtures and coatings which are applicable in any cement
containing mixes, and for repair of aged and damaged concrete and
masonry structures. All of the products described below are
powders packaged in 50 lb containers.

K100®
is the latest addition to the Kalmatron®
line of products! K100®
is available in both liquid and powdered forms and can be used in
any cement containing mix. The great news is that K100®
provides the combined benefits of KF-A®
and KF-SEA® - so you
can now used unwashed sea sand and still get the 29 benefits of KF-A®!
K100® Detailed information.
Admixture to improve concrete & mortar mixes
that provides for complete hydration of the cement particles.
Dosages of 5-10 Kg/m³. KF-A is an admixture that transforms
regular concrete into High Performance Concrete and changes the
rheology of the concrete to include the benefits of obtaining the highest compaction of concrete structures, low slump
with better workability, low shrinkage, early strengthening,
waterproofing, high
resistance to aggressive liquids and gases (including Hydrogen
Sulfide), impermeability, 97% micro pores in a homogeneous concrete
mass, early
flexural strength, resistance to rupture, increased freeze-thaw
resistance, extremely reduced incidence of efflorescense and cracks. KF-A allows you to
eliminate the use of all other admixtures, meshes, fly ash, etc.
ASTM C39 test results, as reported by Smith-Emery
Company are also available.

Coating for old concrete and masonry applied by plastering.
KF-B provides an ion-implanted protective barrier with the highest
resistance to natural and industrial isotopes, aggressive liquids
and gases. KF-B is great for stopping water vapor
emissions. Dosage is 4Kg/m² to 8Kg/m². KF-B is applied to wet or contaminated surfaces in
a 3mm to 5mm layer to both the positive and negative sides of the
structure by metal trowel, gunite or shotcrete technology. The
concrete is actually "healed" because unlike epoxy, KF-B
is cementitious and will not be repelled from the
concrete.

Compressive Strength Gain Test Results.
A fast hardening compound used for patching and
stopping pressure leaks in concrete, wooden and masonry
structures. KF-C is effective in stopping pressure leaks up to
20ATM. KF-C is applicable in underwater conditions utilizing
KF-C "plugs" which act to "weld the concrete",
effectively stopping leaks.
Admixture for structural and soil injections.
KF-D is a stabilizer used on crumbling structures of concrete, soil and
masonry by injection or premix. KF-D provides impermeability
and strengthening. Reduces filtration up to 50 times for most
known types of soil.
Admixture with super-fine pigments for waterproofing
and coloring of building materials containing cement. KF-E can
be used as an admixture or a coating for concrete and masonry
structures and provides superficial solidity and liquid
impermeability with about 3,000 colors and patterns. KF-E is applicable with oil paint application,
stucco, shotcrete and gunite technology. KF-E also provides low shrinkage and waterproofing
to stucco applications.
The most durable film-type coating for concrete and masonry surfaces applied by brush and
spray with a thickness of 1 to 2mm.
KF-F provides a durable layer that has a high resistance to
atmospheric and biological effects. Highly effective for the
repair of agricultural, sewage and water supply systems and chemical
industries.
KF-G
A conceptually new
generation of concrete rehabilitation technology. A liquid spray for
the rehabilitation of degraded concrete rheology is made from the
dry KF-G powder, which is dissolved in water on the job site.
On the third day, flaky and crumbled concrete surfaces become solid,
clean and have an increased compressive strength of up to 30%.
Enhanced water impermeability and reduced vapor transmissions is
provided on the 28th day. KF-G is the
solution for concrete that has micro-cracks with widths less than 3
mm. Micro-cracks of aged concrete are healed by new growths.
KF-H
A finishing cementitious paint for protection and
renovation of wooden and masonry structures with thickness at
1.5mm. Provides for a durable coat with the highest resistance
to atmospheric and biological effects. KF-H is applicable by
brush, spray or trowel in dry or damp environments.
KF-I
A thermoresistant compound that is used for heat
protection and liquid impermeability as a coating on roofs, floors,
boiled-water supply pipes, heating joints, etc. Applied by
stucco or any known concrete technology.
KF-JET-CEMENT
Designed with controlled set times to produce
concrete, mortar, masonry and soil stabilizing structures. Set
times are at 3 minutes, 5 minutes and 10 minutes with early
compressive strength. We work with you and your specific mix
designs to provide you with KF-JET CONCRETE, KF-JET-MORTAR, and
KF-JET SLURRY CEMENT.
KF-K
An admixture to concrete mixed for patching concrete
with high viscosity, strong adhesion to the repaired surface and
impermeability to any liquids. Apply 0.5% of KF-K based on the
weight of the conventional concrete batch with a reduction of 20% in
the amount of water used.
Coating for concrete and masonry structures for
protection from, or deactivation of radiation. This product is
designed for the attenuation of radiation and is based on a concept
of radiation reflection that makes it distinctive from materials
developed on a Compton Effect. It is a cementitious powder
with a dry density of 2,500 Kg/m³. This coating is
applied in a 5mm to 50mm layer or can be used with stucco technology
on vertical and horizontal surfaces. This product can also be
used in powder form for injection or strewing in abandoned mines,
sinkholes or dump sites of radioactive waste. This product is
highly recommended for nuclear plants, nuclear storage facilities,
etc. Concrete can be produced by using this product as an additive.
Successful KF-aby test results from Russia, China and Taiwan are
available for review.
Admixture for concrete containing sea-fillers, such
as unwashed sand and gravel, and even by using seawater. KF-SEA provides higher
durability, stable ion-chloride resistance, increased
impermeability, flexural strength and resistance to rupture.
The resulting concrete/mortar contains NO salt. Highly
recommended for underwater and shore structures. It can also
be used in freezing weather conditions where salt must be added to
the water.

Concrete masonry unit with enhanced heat transfer
resistance, liquid impermeability and protection from
radiation. Available with many color and surface texture
options. Used for walls with heights up to three floors without
rebar re-enforcement. Recommended as the most durable and
economical solution for housing projects, industrial facilities and
the agricultural industry.
Kalmatron® KC is a cement upgrading admixture with a
dosage of 10Kg of KC per 1000Kg of Portland Cement Type I or Type
II. KC upgrades the lowest types of cement to Types III, IV
and V, and High Alumina Cement. KC is best for correction of
low grained cements to the quality of fine-grained cements and High
Performance cements. KC reduces the amount of Clinker
needed.
Kalmatron® KC was developed as an admixture to
Portland cement
to increase hydration by molecular decay of the unstable
relationships between foreign inclusions with pure cement
particles. Subsequent to this increased hydration, concrete
has a higher density, increased compressive strength, increased
impermeability, and requires less cement per volume of concrete mix.
By adding KC to Portland Type I cement, at a minimum you will obtain
the rapid hardening and higher strength associated with Portland
Type III cement and potentially obtain the properties associated
with High Alumina Cement. The poorer the quality of
the original cement, the greater the improvement KC can make.

strengthening. Click here for test results
